By Christopher Monckton of Brenchley
Not long ago, the United Nations leadership under the Secretary-General, Ban Ki-Moon, held a secret conference [1] to discuss ways to destroy national sovereignty and independence, turning the UN into an unelected world government.
Those who attended the conference agreed among themselves that national identity and distinctiveness were a barrier to orderly government of the planet. They plotted what, in UK law at any rate, was treason – the steps they proposed to take to bring the world’s most powerful nation-states down and replace them with – well, with the plotters themselves.
The climate scam provided the perfect backdrop for the plotters, who were unanimously of the view that the mere people – you and me – could not be trusted to Save The Planet because we were too keen on our personal and national self-interest.
The plotters had already failed spectacularly before. On 15 September 2009 they had fatally overreached themselves by drafting a 186-page climate treaty[2] [3], intended to be signed by all nations at Copenhagen, Denmark.
This dismal document envisaged the establishment of a world “government” – this was the first time the word was used in this context in any international treaty. Paragraphs 36-38 of Annex 1 set out the staggering powers of this world government:
- Unlimited powers to inflict direct taxation on all the signatory nations;
- Unlimited powers to regulate energy supplies and environmental conditions worldwide;
- Unlimited powers to set the rules of the formerly free market, which was to be abolished.
And how many times did the words “election”, “democracy”, “ballot” or “vote” appear in the 186 pages of the treaty draft, in the context of ensuring that the peoples of all nations would have the right to elect the members of the New World Order? Not once. The world government was to be a dictatorship or oligarchy, ruling the peoples of the world but not ruled by them.
In October 2009, Dr. Willie Soon, the indefatigable solar expert at the Harvard-Smithsonian Institute for Astrophysics, saw the draft treaty on an obscure UN website and sent me a copy immediately. Why was the draft on the website at all? Precisely because the UN had hoped that no one would actually see it or realize its significance, and that – when the treaty was suddenly inflicted on the world – it would be able to say that the draft had been available on its website all the time.
This ancient and characteristically corrupt bureaucratic device failed. As soon as I saw the treaty draft, I gave an address to the Petroleum Club of Calgary, Canada, informing the members – some of the world’s richest oilmen – of the draft treaty’s terms. They were horrified.
A senior journalist on Canada’s National Post newspaper, Kevin Libin, came up to me after my speech and asked why I, of all people, had become a world government conspiracy theorist. I replied, “Mr. Libin, I have just three words for you. Read. The. Treaty.”
“You mean there is one?” he replied, with the rudeness characteristic of his profession today. I sent him a copy by email. An hour later, he telephoned and said: “Why didn’t you tell me? It’s ten times worse than anything you said.”
He promised to expose the treaty draft all over the front page of the National Post [4]. A few days later, he was as good as his word. A week after that, he found himself working for Stephen Harper, the subtle and thoughtful Prime Minister of Canada, who had been privately horrified by the full page of revelations in the National Post.
Next, I visited the United States of America, where, on 14 October, I addressed 1200 businessmen in St. Paul, Minneapolis. The organizers, the Minnesota Free Market Institute, asked me to add a section to my speech about the climate, explaining the significance of the draft world-government treaty.
Someone in the audience videotaped the four-minute peroration of the speech and posted it on YouTube. Within a day, 100,000 people had viewed it. Within a week, 1 million hits were registered – the fastest-ever YouTube platinum for any speech. In the end, 5 million people saw the clip – still just about a record for any speech.In the end, 5 million people saw the clip – still just about a record for any speech.In the end, 5 million people saw the clip – still just about a record for any speech.
If we are to have a world government at all (and, as the science of “global warming” alarm continues to collapse, the current pretext for world domination by a privileged few is wearing more than a little thin), then it is essential that the world government should be an elected government, and that, as Article 1, Section 1 of the US Constitution makes plain when it grants “All legislative power” to the elected Congress and to the now-elected Senate, none shall make laws for the world or impose taxes upon the world except those whom the people of the world have elected by universal secret ballot.
But world government is undesirable not only because it is unnecessary, anti-democratic and all-powerful, but also because its advocates resort to underhand methods of silencing all those who dare to disagree with them. Free speech, it seems, will be one of the first casualties of the New World Order. And once that global dictatorship is in place (which, thanks to the establishment of some 1000 new global bureaucracies in the Cancun agreement, it largely is), you can forget democracy. They will rule: you will obey. Or else.

It might be exciting to get wrapped up in his talk of communists and global dictatorships, but the science is much more boring, factories are producing billions of tonnes of CO2 which are causing warming and hence environmental disruption.
Carbon Dioxide is not a pollutant. The primordial Earth had CO2 levels in excess of 20 times the levels we have now. This CO2 was photosynthesized into oxygen by cyanobacteria. So long as we have cyanobacteria CO2 is not a threat.
This is a must see video… you have you prepare yourself and your loved ones before it’s too late.
I’m posting my blog video here because I need to reach out to the real people who are effected by the Global Economic Crisis. Please pass this video on.
