Just shows how stupid the believers are and the fact they won’t do proper research for themselves..
How many people are aware of the water vapor feedback? Dr Evans is so right, that the wamists withold this part of the theory because it is just so spurious. A five year old could figure out that maybe som of it becomes clouds and maybe some of it becomes rain. Ignorance has been the friend of the warmist for a long time and information will be how we defeat this tax.

Great talk Dr Evans. I read about you through Quadrant a few years ago, and at the time did not understand the issue of the lack of measured tropical high tropospheric temperature rise but now understand that all the models have continued to predict this. Your plain language is an important popular demonstration of the true nature of science which is under assault from the corrupting relationship between scientists and government. It’s great to see an Australian scientist trying to explain in common language important principles to his fellow citizens. The government scientists deliberately fail to do this. I am a neurologist and a doctor of medicine and am used to the negative feedbacks in nature. If somebody said when it comes to the brain, the science is in, they would be laughed out of the government and the academy.
Negative feedbacks and buffering systems must be present in natural climate variability and, over the longterm external forcings (the shape of the earth’s orbit, the changes in its axis and the wobble in its axis that are believed to create Kroll-Milankovitch cycles seem to be the influence on the major climate changes that determine ice ages and interglacial periods.
We are just beginning to understand the minor oscillations such as Pacific decadal oscillation, ENSO, the Atlantic equivalents and many others at a time when we can make more accurate observations. Unfortunately the politicized science has already jumped to conclusions, created vested interests, and tries to marginalize empirical evidence.
In a few minutes you have completely undermined the so-called public servants Garnault, Steffen and Flannery who propagate the “consensus” myth. To scientists, consensus means not settled. “The Critical Decade” report turned out to be the decade when all the IPCC model predictions came apart. The irony of this seems to have been lost on them entirely.
Keep up the good work in restoring the honest reputation of Australian scientists.

i can hear tem say, yeah but the carbon tax is still a step in the right direction.
Some people stay loyal to the mistakes of others regardless what they believe to be the truth.
The reality is the government(who represents us?) is giving power to corporations to collect more $$(effort/work) from us to reduce the amount of CO2 they release, which will eventuate to corporations controlling more of the resources of this planet( buy forest to offset their emission, sponsored by our governments/us) once again the people paying for the wealth growth of big corporations.
